Dynamis - Lifeforce
Hahnemann described the process of an illness as dynamic. Dynamis means movement and is the basis of life. Just as health progresses dynamically, so too is the illness mobile. Only a potentialised and dynamised medicine can effect a cure.
A homeopathic medicine is diluted and shaken step by step. Merely diluting the medicine has no effect. After every dilution it has to be shaken - "dynamised".
Each medicine is first prepared as a mother tincture. Depending on whether one is dealing with plants, metals or minerals etc., there are detailed stipulations for the pharmaceutical manufacture.
