Homeopathy - Introduction
The founder of homeopathy is Dr. med. Habil. Samuel Hahnemann. He was born 1755 in Maissen (Saxony) and died 1843 in Paris. He was considered a leading scientist of his day and age. In his capacity as a doctor, apothecary and chemist he published numerous valuable papers on these subjects.
He wrote "Organon der Heilkunst" (The Art of Healing) in which he put down the entire methodology of homeopathy in 291 paragraphs.
§ 1:
"The physicians highest and only profession is to make sick people well. This is called healing."
Homeopathy - homeo (gr.) = similar, pathy (gr.) = suffer
Homeopathy is a treatment which views the patient as a whole and considers the cause of illness to be a disturbance of the whole person. There is no separation of mind, soul and body. Illness is always an expression of a fundamental discrepancy in the system and needs a medication which can restore internal balance. Pain is seen as a friend which clearly indicates where a solution is required. Homeopathic medicine addresses the ill organism at its innermost core.
For every person there is a medicine which not only removes the physical illness and disturbance but also re-establishes mental balance.
A patient's statement after taking homeopathic medicine:
"I am more content, as if a load had been taken off my back.
I no longer take things so badly. I can leave the old behind me and won't suffer any more. Mentally I feel great, calmer, stronger and have more energy. I jog regularly and can finish something which was harming me."
Dreams:
"Unsettling dreams no longer wake me at night."
Physical Symptoms:
Since taking the medicine, my periods are like clockwork.
