Authoritarian Structures

Orthodox medicine "strongly recommends" vaccinations. If these recommendations are not followed the most dire consequences are threatened - illness, suffering and an early death. Questions as to the sense and possible side effects are immediately quashed with the authority of "those in the know".

The comparison shows how orthodox medicine has similar authoritarian structures as exist in, for instance, the Roman Catholic Church. Spreading fear and panic are instruments of hierarchical systems.

Orthodox Medicine

"You cannot speak to God yourself, only with a priest as intermediary is it possible to experience godliness."

"You cannot know about your own body. Only with the doctor as an intermediary is it possible to experience your own body."

Quote from Richard Rohr and Andreas Ebert - "Das Enneagramm"

"In the First ("Old") Testament, and especially in the message from Jesus of Nazareth, the Bible is constantly calling upon us to overcome fear: "Fear not!" Even so we have not recognised how demonic fear can be. The Bible is constantly encouraging us to turn against the voice of fear, and yet we deny it or give it other names such as diplomacy, being clever or sensible.

Especially people in situations of power, who want to control others by fear, are always finding new names: "loyalty" for example or "obedience". Many of us have had the "virtue" of obedience beaten into us during childhood. In reality we were supposed to knuckle under our parents, teachers, superiors, priests and other figures of power. The fear was cloaked as the virtue of obedience and even covered with a religious oath. This has nothing whatsoever to do with real obedience. Real obedience arises from the freedom to listen, make a decision of conscience and if need be to say "No!" False obedience is the lazy fruit of fear."

End of quote

Humanity's yearning to be embedded in a higher wisdom has for centuries been abused by the ruling denomination/church as a vehicle for their own desire for power. In a time of information abundance the terrifying messages of eternal damnation and the fall of man have been recognised as deliberate fear and panic mongering. In western society the image of man as a helpless and unworthy sinner no longer has a place. The old values of sin and penance appear too bizarre.

The thirst for knowledge has replaced the need to believe. Religious dogmas are replaced by "objective scientific" truths and certainties, which can only be put into question under threat of illness and suffering.

Medicine's media effective representatives are given a "pope"- like status. Surrounded with the aura of the newest science, corroborated by so-called "double blind studies" they appear beyond reproach and beyond reach.

In earlier times the church banished and burnt wise women and natural healers, today orthodox medicine claims healing as its monopoly and influenced by a male-oriented science denies the individual any insight and inner wisdom.

The organ functions are divided into various specialisations under the principle of "divide and rule". A practical system - everyone sees the body merely from their own specialisation. The dermatologist suppressing eczema with a cortisone cream will not be faced with the consequences of his actions. The asthma caused by his actions belongs to the lung specialist.

The individual loses any overview and will tend to follow the "urgent recommendations" to protect his health.

Rebellion against this spoon-feeding and disenfranchisement requires a large portion of civil courage. Any protest is often nipped in the bud because of fear of the threatened consequences.
